Not that it matters but I was never talking about coskid I was talking about quack addicts comment.
Oh that's a load of hooey.
If you meant ONLY Quack, you would have specified Quack, but you didn't. You posed the question to, "...those of you who say it will not change..."
Here, see?

See? Your own words. You did NOT mean only Quack.
For a man who took Cos to task for not qualifying his post, you were pretty non-specific if you were referring to only Quack's post.
In my opinion coskid called me out and wanted to argue.
Ok, if that's the way you felt. But you were the one calling people out. Cos just answered your initial call. If you need to refresh your memory, just see the red part of your quote above.
But if you and co are such buds ill digress.
You'll digress? Huh?
Anyway, Cos and I aren't buds. I never knew he existed until I became the Mod for this forum a few weeks ago. But that begs the question, even if he and I were buds, does that mean it invalidates what I previously posted? No, it doesn't.
Look, the point is the OP asked for opinions. Cos posted his and let the OP know there was no perceptible change in ride after he put a leveling kit on his truck. That's what the OP asked for, so just chill a little bit skunk. Take a deep breath man, we're not enemies here, ok?
Maybe a little. Possibly in the Fall. Most likely going with Bilsteins on the 1" setting.
I think the Billys would be a great choice. I thought about going this route too. I would advise you to go ahead and get the billys but I think you would be more happy setting it at the 2" setting. When I got ready to level, I too thought that 2" might be too much, so I considered only raising an 1" with the bilsteins. Anyway, I am very glad that I went with 2" of lift, my truck looks much better than it did stock.
Sorry, if I shouldn't have said anything. I just know I was in your same boat when I did mine and worried 2" would be too much, but it is not. JMO. Good luck.

yes and if you look very closely quack is the only 1 that said it will not make a difference I didn't wanna single anyone out in case he didn't wanna step forward and back up his claim. I don't know you personally but I suspect you're just like cokid a lot of info from reading the internet with little hands on experience and that makes you an expert so when somebody calls him out on his lack of experience you step up to defend him like he your want a child yes very fair moderator indeed.
Please excuse the above typo.
FYI If any of you really wanna understand suspension geometry I have 2 books that you can get cheap on the internet (Race chassis and suspension design by Carrol Smith or Chassis engineering by Herb Adams) If any of you truly wanna understand suspensions and chassis don't take my word for it go read these books and when you come back and read what is written in this forum you will get why I think this is so funny. If you guys knew me you would know that I don't have to be worked up to bluntly call you out when you're wrong.

No worries. Don't want to go 2" for a number a reasons. Mainly, I still want some rake, and I don't want to potentially stress out the balljoints more than what is needed. Honestly I'd be happy with the truck at stock ride height for the rest of its life, but what's the point in that???
Oh hey Skunk, calling out Mods isn't going to win you any friends!
