led underdash lighting, 2 triggers?
I have a 2000 f150 and I want to install underdash led lighting and led lighting under the back bench seat, normally it says to wire it into a 12v supply with a toggle switch, or use cigarette lighter adapter.
I want to wire them into the courtesy lighting circuit and the headlight circuit using blocking diodes(rectifier diodes) on the positive side of the wiring and run two triggers, to have them turn on when you open the door and off when you close it, and turn on and off with the headlights .
Has anyone tried this?
