Well now we arnt gettng the injector code any more with either of the IDMS but were getting a code im unsure of the actually name but its a wire that communicates with the IDM and the trucks computer. I googled it and it said to look for a yellow wire and to check if there was any burns or rips. It looked clean but i opened up the fuse box under the hood and the fuse 4 was melted, I dont know what that fuse is for, i dont have the owners manual anymore. Does anyone know what fuse 4 is? and would that casue a no start?
Also we cleaned out the fuel bowl and put a new filter in, my filter was nasty and some how i had texas dirt in my fuel bowl. also some senser on the HPOP wasnt secured down and it was sliding back and forth on the bolt.

I didn't write it down. Ill scan it again tommarow.
What did you google to come up with the troubleshooting information you mentioned?
I strongly recommend that you get a pad and pen and write the codes down. Since you're getting it scanned anyway, it won't take any more time at all, and it will help the experts here help you.

Yes. When I first bought the truck I took it to a truck shop and they ripped me off and didn't install somethings right and that being something they didn't install right.
Well i took my truck up to the shop and had them try and figure out why it wouldnt start. They replaced the valve cover harnesses cause they were burned. They said the IDM was bad and wanted 800 dollars to fix it. I gave them my buddys spare to try and see if that was it. Still no start. They are saying that it is either internal engine damage or a bad injector. But wont the engine stil at least run with one bad injector? They couldnt tell me which one was wrong. This is the same truck shop that replaced my HPOP. When i had it scaned at my buddys it wasnt making enough pressure, But the shop said it was fine. I dont know what tests they ran on it. But is there a way i can test the HPOP besides scaning it? like could i send it some where ? But what else could cause the truck to not start?
With the hpop being new (right?), it shouldn't be a problem for sure. Has the truck ran since the hpop replace? That shop seems a little lost to me. A 5000psi gauge can be put on to test the hpop, needs to be put on one of the heads, wherever its easiest to remove a galley plug, one in line on the head with the line from the hpop.
Could you do a recap of what all has been done for us before you go any further?
Truck ran for 5-6 months after the HPOP replacement.
From what I know, he has had the HPOP changed, ran good for a spell. CEL would pop on then the truck would run bad, it goes off, ran fine. Checked out IDM, ran Buzz test, injector 3 came back low voltage, scanned for codes (still don't know exact codes), now it won't hit a lick to fire anymore. Lee correct/add what all I forgot.
What was the psi for the HPOP and compression when it was tested?
The low voltage came up but went away from having the wrong scaner chip. But we also replaced cps. The truck acted the same with the old idm and the rebuilt spare we had. We got it to runn but on off starting fluid. But it wouldn't stay running. I don't know exact psi of hpop or compresion. I'm picking the truck up tommarow and ill get that info.
