Unless the government management has instructed them to honor "questionable" claims in an attempt to increase business. After all, Government got more money than Ford does, and they're just wanting the loans repaid.

I was just reading a article today about the presidential candidates as well as Obamas positions and statements on the bailouts versus the facts....Not a one of them is being totally truthful...
That likely explains why I read so many things here, that miss the mark as well.
As far as GM willingly paying for warranty claims that should be denied....As stupid a lot of the politicians are, I really doubt that those in power would be that dumb.
Not only would it ruin career(s) it could also result in prison time.
And the likely hood of evidence surfacing is just about 100%....Everyone who had info of this type would just love to expose it.

55 confirmed sales kills directly related to the shameful way Ford handles the HPFP failures. It has been said many times and never disputed that Ford makes about $10,000 profit on every diesel Super Duty they sell...55 times $10,000 equals $550,000...
