will this cause a fire???
Ok i have a 2000 Navi and i bought the silverstar 9005 65watt bulbs for the foglights. i have found the bulbs will not fit the factory plug but i found a plug that will. if i tie in the new plug will this cause a problem being the old bulbs were like 25watt and the new are 65??? thanks

there are several people on here that say they have converted their expedition fogs to the 9005. i didn't know the plug were diff on a navi and expi. i was hoping a Navi owner could chime in. if not, i will be selling a brand new set of 9005 Ultras

You're going from about 2-amps per light to about 5.5-amps per light. You run the risk of blowing the fuse because of the increased 7-amp load, but more importantly as alwaysfords41 pointed out, the extra heat can cause some melting
