I know how to put a windshield in. But is a glue recommended, is there somethinh i should put in seal that touches window like a glue, caulk anyone done this before with success?
On our Peterbilt windshield's we use a Butyl rope, check with your local autoglass outlet and they should have some or recommend a different product. We find the Butyl cleaner to work with.
To answer your question, I used this stuff...it was recommended by the local classic Mustang shop on my son's 66, so I used the same on the 52 truck...messy, but no water leaks yet. It's a non-hardening body sealer:
