Trey, your right on that but I didn't take it in for that they just did the recall without my knowledge. I wasn't happy. I don't think they have to give parts back on recalls, but they should ask or tell you so you can say no.

Oh it was a dealer? I thought you just meant some random shop said "You needed a new CPS so we took care of it for you."

I kinda threw it in the back of my head because I didnt want it to be injectors or HPOP or something. Turns out it was just a CPS.
Was this more noticeable warm? I have had this slightly is since the recall cps went in, but it is much more noticeable since the new injectors and HPOP. I don't feel it cold, (and others don't notice it at all) but the PCM adds timing cold and if the cps pick up is off centered so that it would retard timing, it would explain a lot.

I'm not sure. But I know when I notice it most it is warm because I was always noticing it at stop lights and such.

I changed from a gray to a new IH blue a couple of months ago, no difference.

I'll have to see if this new find is worth it also, and if it lasts.

I want feed back from all of you
Come back here if you do the BW CPS and let us know how your truck likes it! Every truck is different.

Like I said, mine has only been on for today. Tomorrow it will get about 50-80 miles on it and we will see how it does

Get real load like 2K pound of stuff in bed or tow.

Then see if it still idle normal or it act like strong at idle?

Just wait couple thousands miles before CPS start crap on you when turn on wiper. I replaced mine once it run perfect but once it rain it cut off.

My boss use those on his fleet. I must say 60% it hit/miss They just stop work on very hot day.

Yes a dealer. Was in a pinch and needed batteries for a trip and didn't have time to mess around. Never again.

My truck ate two of the Borg Warners before I swapped the Ford recall grey one back in. The BWs are priced right but don't last long.

Improved International CPS for 94-03 7.3L Ford Powerstroke Diesel from International
[IHC#1876736C91]

What about these...they are black in color. Any better than FORD OEM?
