REMOTE START

I just got a used 2003 Excursion 4x4 V-10. When i was installing my stereo i noticed under the dash i found a remote start box and a blank key. I'm wondering what i have to do to get it working. Can i get a new remote for it or do i need to get a whole new system. The box appears to be all hooked up.

The box with the key is a bypass module for the chip in the key. You still should have an brain box related to the remote start or alarm. Locate it and see what the brand and model is. You will then be able to do some research to determine if it works. Thats a nice find if it does

thanks for the info. i looked under the dash again and its an AstroFlex model 5200. im going to do some research now

lowboy, ur sig says front spring swap, is that some popular mod or didja just put differnt springs in?

I bought the truck that way but do a search on the V or B code spring swap. It puts the F250 truck spring in to level out the front of your X.

I'm getting ready to lift my X wanna buy my front springs :-)
