Remote Start
Just found out My New Truck (03 F150) Has remote start. Almost Shyte Myself when I pushed the wrong button on the remote & it tried to start when I was 20 feet away. I didn't start & the theft lite was flashing. I only had one key when I got the truck so the dealer reprogrammed & gave Me another one. After searching on here, It sounds like there is a key in the remote start box. So If I'd known this I wouldn't have had to reprog. the keys. Where would this box be? I don't want any problems with this aftermarket crap. Should I just Remove it?

You can find the remote box and get the key out of it but that key wont start the truck any more . If it was not present when the tech made you a second key it wont any more .
That is why your theft light was flashing when you hit your remote start by accident.
Yes I would remove it.

The most common place and also the most convenient place is right above your knees below the steering column. You may have to pull that panel below the instrument cluster and above the steering column This is where all the wiring is easy to get to. The fuse box is close ignition switch is close
