Problems with integrated controllers are well represented on multiple FTE forums. Are you getting fault message with or without trailer plugged in?

So with trailer unplugged now, you have fault message. Does the controller work when you manually activate it ie. do you have brakes or power to the brake pin on the seven pin when controller is activated by hand?

Understood, Hey, I was already on a service call this morning, 16 degrees, burr!

If it works on manual and you have power to the brake pin, you know the wiring is good and there is little left to do other than replace controller parts. If it doesn't work on manual either, think in terms of wiring connections. As I am sure you know, you can not check controller operation by using the brake pedal while standing still.

I don't work on integrated controllers, Ford does.

Sorry I didn't get back to you apparently there was an issue with the sight. anyway I checked the output at the trailer connection on the truck and every thing is working including the brake output. So I'am guessing there must be a problem with the controller. If you have any further info I'd appreciate it Thanks. ED

If you have brake output via the manual actuation, all that is left is the conroller. Through manual activation you have validated the rest of your braking system to the trailer.

Good luck,

Steve
