Howdy All,
Heres my delima. I want to add an air tank inline of my air compressor to be able to air up and bleed down my rear end air bags from within my cab. I want it to operate seperately from my air locker controller but still using the same compressor. I would like a schematic showing airline routing and electrical silenoid, swithes and wiring usage. If you have any questions of my truck just checkout my garage. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
I've been looking into this a little too. I like the wireless one controller from Airlift, but when I got pricing for the pieces/parts I needed from an Airlift dealer, it added up to more money than just buying their set up that comes with the little cheap compressor.
Have the compressor run off a swith in the cab, plumb in 2 solenoids into the air line one for the locker one for the bags, 2 switches in the cab 1 for the bags one for the solenoids. If I have time tomorrow I will draw up a diagram
We offer a system similar to what you are describing, called the Quickshot.
If you click the link, and go to page six you will find a plumbing diagram. This would be how to plumb it if you want separate control of each bag. We also offer a system where they are tied together which would be a slightly simpler.
In the diagram you would T in the air locker system instead of the coil air hose.
If you are interested I can put you in touch with a retailer that would be willing to sell you the kit without the compressor. Going that route would give you all the pieces together rather than tracking each part down.
