Power Windows

I have read some post talking about window motors. I noticed today that my drivers window goes up and down about twice as fast as all my other windows. I remember reading something about a aftermarket window motor that was fast going up and down. Anys back on topic, I have a window that works sometimes and sometimes it dont. I thought about replacing the motor. However, I go to thinking today it could be the regulator. My orginal goal was to replace all the door lock auctuator and window motors at one time. I need to replace 3 auctuators so figured while i was in the door why not. So do you think it could be the motors or the regulators. Sorry for all babbling on about things.

If the window that fails from time to time is not the driver's window, try using the other switch and see if it makes a difference. Could be just that one switch is bad. Could try cleaning the contacts.

Ruled that out already as when it's acting up. Even the other switch don't matter. Guess I need to get the test light out one day when it's acting up see what I can find out. Knowing my luck it won't work but I get the test light and it will work

I had one be intermittent on me last summer. It finally quit for go as we were ready to head to the beach, and of coarse fully down.

I got to stay behind and figure it out. Turned out to be frayed wires inside the boot that goes to the door. Talk about fun times with tight quarters to fix it. It was on and off again for months before giving up.
