rear main seal
Anyone know how difficult it is to change rear main seal??? I know I gotta drop the transfer case and tranny but I am not familiar with auto tranny's ...how does flexplate come off??? Will I need any special tools???

I think as far as you do, is take off the drivelines then the bolts on the flywheel and roll it backwards. I am not sure but thats what i was told when i started planing the rebuild of mine.

Haha for me i slowed it by using thicker oil, plus i primarily park on gravel at work and home so i am not worried. Eventually i will get it sealed but it isn't concerning too much for now.
