I have a 05 F-150 4x4 extended cab 5.4 liter with a leveling kit on the front end, What's the biggest tire i can put on it without rubbing suspension parts or the front bumper valance? I was thinking 33 inch tires which i believe are 285's, I have 265's on it now and it doesn't look right with such big wheel openings, Also I have no plans on beating my truck to death off road this is my everyday vehicle i just want it to look mean thanks.

How large is the leveling kit?
1" level and you can fit up to a 34" diameter
2-3" and you can fit up to a 35" diameter with some trimming in places

I believe it's a 1 inch leveling kit that came off a friends 2010 f-150 he replaced it with a 2 inch lift on his truck.

I have 17's on in now, I'm going to get another set of wheels for it for the bigger tires.

 

Something like a 305/70/17 might look nice. Or a 295/75/17. If you go with 18"s then come down 5% on each aspect ratio.

 

Stay with something in the 33" range and you will be fine. Chandler is good with the tires but the width on a 305 might end up rubbing just a hair on the bumper valance. Something like the 285/70/17 would go very well with a 1" kit.
