ICP Sensor is a piece of cake on an '05, no need to do anything else at the same time since there isn't much labor involved.

I think they recommend the pigtail, from that sensor when you do it. It might be contaminated with oil...

Mine was leaking, but I didn't bother changing the connector. Over $50 for a pigtail is ridiculous! I really don't understand why they have you splice the harness instead of just cleaning the plug out with electronics cleaner like I did.

LOL--it takes about 30 seconds or less to change the ICP on an 05. Pigtail maybe 5 minutes if the tech is SLOW.

You always seem to have a caveat!

Once again people...thank you very much for the help, advice and occasional entertainment.
If I had the proper scan tool I would have done it myself. I am not a mechanic, but am bright enough and analytical...so I usually get by.
Two questions though.

Best scan tool for a non mechanic
What gauges should I have in my truck

Thanks again, w/out your guidance, it would be very tough to do a lot of this on my own, and save a good chunk of change.
