Superduty prices?

Hello all, I sold my heavily modded lifted 04 about two years ago because it was impractical at the time and I got good money for it so I let it go. I'm in the market for another one but dont want a huge lift. (old truck had a 10in). I have been looking around and have seen prices all over the map. I sold mine 2 years and it was a retired show truck that you could eat off of the suspension. It had head studs, suncoast tranny and over $5K in wheels and tires, tons of new suspension parts. I sold it for $22.5 with 78K miles. I basically want the same truck without the lift and more miles. I fell in love with a 02 dually with a 7.3 and alcoa wheels. The truck is really clean with nice mods and 150K miles but the dude is asking $23K! I think that nuts...I would buy a clean 7.3 with an updated front end but dont want to buy another 6.0 unless its studded (got it done under warranty last time not paying for it this time lol)

What should I expect to pay?

No worries man I just wanted to make sure you got the information you need as quickly as possible. A few guys know stuff about those trucks but not as many in the SD forum.

7.3L SD's are going for big $ around northern Indiana as well. I've seen them for anywhere from $13K up to $25K depending on miles and condition. 150K mile trucks seem to be bringing mid teens to low 20's in price depending on model and condition. It's getting harder to find 7.3L's that aren't used up in this day and age. But it's not impossible if you are patient and diligent.

Which forum are you more interested in getting feedback from? You seem to be mainly interested in the 7.3L PSD but you also mention the 6.0L PSD.

Cos suggested the SuperDuty forum, but if you specifically want 7.3L input I can move it to that forum.

Call the ball brother, I can move it to any forum you want!

Nice thing about being from the south is you'll probably find one in better overall condition, at least little to no rust.

Averaging around 15K in Atlanta with lower prices for 2wd, higher for lower miles.

With gas prices going above diesel prices in those days, those 7.3 PSD gain value every hour.
