Train horns

I am pretty sure the big horns require a lot of air. Most the guys with them on big trucks re-route big air lines and valves to get them to work right. Now with the kid in the pickup, a driver I know had train horns and his little girl was all excited when he got home from the road and got hung up on the valve while climbing in his truck and the horn blasted until the truck was out of air and since she was less than two has no hearing. Just a warning, think about your kids future not just having fun. Believe me I wanted train horns and whistle on my truck to but never will do it because I am not going to risk my kids or any other kids hearing. I won't even let my boys in my car without ear plugs.

I bought a set off E-bay years ago for the tow truck I drive.
The Boss was concerned about the idea but I convinced him of the need.
The stock horn on the F650 Sucks.
Now traffic pays attention when I need to get through.
AND I USE THEM.
The idiots in their fantasy worlds need to be reminded that there are other people on the road and that have work to do.
Besides they can't see me flipping them off and I know they can't hear me.
They sure do hear the horns.
As for the sound level inside the truck; There is no doubt that you honked your horns.

They are fed from a 1½ gal air tank pressurized by a Viair 380C that I bought used for $40.

One thing I was wondering if it scares other drivers, what happens if you use the train horn and actually causes someone to crash their car? That would make you liable. I have the train horn on my list to do someday, but I might just do an airhorn off a truck, might be easyier to blame on a trucker.

i wired a relay into the ground wire for the horn button and put in a switch to turn the train horn on and off so i could still use the stock horn
