c6 atf capacity
i just put in a b&m shift, so i more or less completely drained the tranny, i put 7 quarts in back in it....but the tranny slips, especially in reverse. how many quarts is a 76 c6 4x tranny supposed to hold?

Did you drain the torque converter? I think that's drained & filled seperately, isn't it?
I think mine took at least 6 or 7, and I believe it's 12 if you include the torque converter. This is going off of memory so I may be mistaken.
