Okay, it is the 29th, and we have a total of 4 designs to choose from so far. One of mine, and three from nikmish. Should we have the vote now? Or wait for a design from Shamelessly?

I wouldn't wait on me. I'm trying, really, but I have a lot on my plate right now and to be honest, the decal is of fairly low importance.

I will get to it, but I'm making no promises as to time. You may vote on and print up decals if you'd like without any worry of offending me.

So is there a rough size for this? I would like to put it in the center of the rear sliding window.

I was thinking 4 inches by 4 inches, if we go with my circle design, as I want to put it on both sides of the Bronco's rear side windows. If it turns out to be wider than it is tall, we can do a regular bumper sticker type thing which I believe is 4x9" or 3.5x9". Not 100% sure on that. I will have to check around to see what kind of prices we are looking at, however, it will have to wait until we all decide on which design we are going to use.

Same here, maybe we can make it bigger depending on the design. After all, we want everyone to know we are members of FTE.

Maybe we should go with two main designs, ya know like a circle design for side windows and whatever else we pick.

That sounds like a good idea. However, right now, it seems all the designs are not exactly bumper sticker in length. unless you are thinking of a tall design for your rear window.

Okay all,

Today is Sunday the 4th of March, I say we vote on the designs we have right now for a week, so by Sunday the 11th of March whichever design has the most votes gets to be our chapter logo. I have also been thinking maybe we can have two sizes instead of just one. Obviously the cost would be higher, but I figure members can choose which size they want depending on where on their trucks they want to put them.

For example, maybe in my case a 4x4" design would be best for the rear side windows of my Bronco. Or if you have a pickup and want to put it in the rear window, maybe an 8x8" size would be better, or maybe two 4x4" designs, one behind the driver, one behind the passenger. Gives us more flexibility this way in my opinion. In any case, we can work out the size later, right now I want us to vote on the design we will be using.

I will cast the first vote, and I vote for my circle design.

edit: BTW, Steve or Dan, can we make this a sticky until the vote closes?

Jim

Pages 6 and 7 of this thread have my final design, and the three from niknish. The last one from nikmish will need to be modified, or just used for a gtg banner, as there is nothing on there to suggest it is the Nor-Cal chapter of FTE, or the FTE url. However, you get the basic idea. I think his second design also lacks the url. His first design can also be considered for a gtg banner as only chapter members would need to see it to know what it means.

My votes going to be for Nikmish's (Ford truck enthusiast, Nor Cal) with the f100. That would look great on my truck, I see it on my rear sliding window. Would be cool to make it the entire size of the center window. Still I agree needs the URL. But I like that one. Sorry Jim.

Jim, start a brand new thread with all the pictures of the designs we're to vote on in the very first post, along with the information of how long you want the vote to be open for, that way people aren't searching through this whole thread trying to determine what sticker designs are to be voted on. You can even make it a polling thread to make it easy to see how many votes have been cast for each design.

Then ask Steve, Dan, or George to make it a sticky.

Stewart

PS - The last one by nikmish shouldn't be considered since there's nothing on it to identify it as being for the NorCal Chapter, much less FTE.
