The price reflects their quality. If you are not purchasing Ford ones from an online Ford vendor I would recommend purchasing locally. If there is any problem with a part like this you can get it serviced much more easily. But I would stick to a name brand like National, Moog, or Timken. The generic brands wear out too quickly.
I always encourage to seek more affordable alternatives, but there is risk involved everywhere.
NAPA and OEM part don't have good quality at all. Lot of this forum sponsors offer upgrades. I did buy lot of parts on ebay and lately ordered Mercedes part from Romania (land of Gypsies). The seller had good feedback with hundreds replies and it worked just fine. I don't buy from sellers having less than 99.5 % positive feedback unless I can use my CC for warranty. Also ebay rates last year, sometimes it is worth to scroll the feedback past that period.
One thing I have come to realize on my wife's trailblazer hub assembly when I was shopping around is the price difference has been directly applied to warranty example: no warranty $XX.xx, 1 year +$20, 2 year +$30 lifetime +$50
