High enough that it doesn't **** him off, barely.
Seriously, you might want to grab a mid-fifty/lmc/mac's/etc. catalog and see what the going rate for new of some of the items in the picture, then offer about half of that. Of course I'm pretty clueless.....
Might offer a $100, when he says no then ask about what he was thinking. People don't give prices when they want you to over bid or they don't know. Usually the first person to name a price looses so to speak, but if you go low but still serious it helps. He knows what he wants for it, he's just hoping you'll offer him a whole lot more.
They accept the offer!.......Man i should have said $50 lol. But I really like the 56 hood side emblems. Aint no telling what this is going to really cost me. I will be trying to change out my dash now
Yea I have never seen a chromed out ashtray, glovebox and heater in one of these trucks.........maybe I just have not been around long enuf or it could be that I have not done any research on interier stuff yet
I'm so far away from working on my interier that its not funny....now if I could find some running boards!
Hey Adam,
I saw this craigslist ad out of San Antonio where it looked
like the guy was getting rid of his hobby Ford truck stuff.
It included running boards but I think they were from a '49
not sure they will fit yours.
