My '87 BII has a regular sunroof on it, and it leaks, unfortunately. The original owner said he could never find parts to fix it, and I haven't been able to yet, so does anyone know how to fix a leaking sunroof? It's not the electric one, btw.
TRY SOME SILICONE!!! That can help out alot if u really feel like takin the sunroof out and resealing it. Thats about all you can do. You could even replace it with an aftermarket roof of the same size.

Yeah, several people have suggested to me that I could use some silicone.
I think if it has the rotating wheel it is factory and if it has the flip type handle it is aftermarket. The best thing to do is use a sealer meant for polycarbonate windows (GE II?). The thing is to remove and reinstall everything and make sure the weep holes are open and that the drain tube (usually cheap rubber tube) is in good shape and not leaking. Sometime where it exits by the right front fender it can be clogged. Might be as simple as unclogging it.

what are the weep holes? and, i heard my dad say something about non-electric sunroofs (in my instance, MINE) didn't have a drain hole (but I guess they do?). I'll check...
