sunroof leak
I was wondering if anyone has had any leaks with their sunroof. Mine leaks in the rain and when in the automatic car wash. The dealer said it was normal for it to leak a little, but I think it's leaking more than normal. Thanks for any help.

Sunroofs (or moonroofs as Ford calls them) should NOT leak. Period!

sorry monsta. It's a hole in the Roof! It's going to leak!!!! Some leak more than others. Every time you close the doors with the windows up, the increase in Psi will push the air out at the weakest point. ie. the sun roof. My wifes 03 Exp would poor water out of the map light switches. if she got in, closed the door while it was raining. her fix, bought an F150 with no hole in the roof. CADE; get some silicone spray and keep the seals clean.

My '04 does not leak. Not even a little. Closing the doors or not does not matter. In the end it is a rubber gasket and alignment just like on the doors. Would you be happy with the statement that "Doors leaking is normal".

I have a sunroof, live in the wettest city in the US and mine doesn't leak a bit.
Leaking is NOT acceptable.
