Hey guys......I'm looking to buy a decent set of used headers. I can't justify milling the old manifolds or buying a new expensive set of headers for my work truck. Im sure many of ya have a set sitting around. I'm looking.g for in frame full length application. For a 1977 f250 4x4. I would consider fenderwell exits for the right $ but prefer to stay in frame. Also does headman or any other company make prebent dual kits for that year 4x4? Thank you!
They're for a 78 F250 4x4 4wd. I bought them for a 400 I was building, but ended up putting in a 460. They're brand new, only opened to look at. Located in southeast Michigan.
Well if no one has any used in frame headers laying around.....anyone out there with used fenderwells? If not a point in the right direction to new AFFORDABLE. Headers? I can't spend 700 for a set of l&l headers. Again its for a '77 F250 4wd w/460 Thank You
I have used Flowtech headers for years - never any problems. Just spend a few extra dollars on a quality header gasket and make sure they seal good. Spend a few more dollars and add a ARP stud kit and be even happier knowing they will stay snug to the head. Just recheck the torque specs after you drive it 60-100 miles and get them heated/cooled a few times and you should be set. Just check the torque once a year to be sure they are staying tight.
