400 Headers?

400 Headers?

I need a new pair. Someone that has a pair, could you tell me if on the passenger side, does the headers seperate and 2 tubes go one way and the other 2 the other way? They split around a motor mount I think?

I'm buying these for a 77 f-150 4x4. I'll probably just buy one of the cheapest pairs. Unless there is a reason not to?

I'm asking b/c I was told the truck had a different motor. I think if I knew what the headers were like I could tell.

78 F250 4x4 with the 400 here, used Hedman Elites, they don't separate around anything. I used the coated ones, paid the bucks to be sure they would last as long as possible

Hmmm. the current headers on the truck that leak split on the passenger side to go around the mount. Maybe it doesn't matter.
