straight flow muffler
i have a 2003 6.0 with stock exhaust. i want to put a straight flow muffler on. what would it sound like with and without the kitty on? would this help the engine out and possibly my MPG?

Sounds ****! It will lower EGT's & you will not get MPG. Check on you tube there are many clips so you can hear the difference with/without kitty, muffler/no muffler, 4''/5'', etc........................

It'll sound like a jet taking off and your truck will run so much better!
One of the reasons people don't see an mpg increase and experience turbo lag, is because they don't perform the VGT relearn strategy after adding their exhuast. This allows the ECM and Turbo to learn the exhuast flow and adjust peformance accordingly.
