Cutting and welding, my friend. I've considered using the front hangers and shackles off of a 78-79 f250, but they're gettin a bit harder to find in junk yards nowadays. That and I'm not really sure it's worth all the trouble (I assume you mean to put the shackle @ the rear of the front springs?)...whats wrong with the stock setup (other than a harsher ride)?

The difference is the crumple zone. Our trucks don't have them...

I'm trying to post a new thread can't figure out. Anyway I need help I swaped a 89 Dana 60 into my 86 f250 with a set of 12 inch springs running same tires an wheels I had before. It looks like my caster is pointed up an my yoke on axle is down alittle don't have drivrshaft in it yet. I can't go over 25 miles an hour because the truck will vilently bounce an shake. We ajusted the toe in on front an don't know what. Is goin on any help would be great!! If easier I can b reached at2172463572 or here on thread
