cube van engine to pickup?

i have a 91 ford cube van, body and frame rotten, with a 7.3 diesel. i am wondering if it is an easy job to retro fit this engine into a pickup, and which truck would give me the least amount of hassle? thanks

A F250/F350 from at least '87 through '97...not sure you can go earlier. And there was a frame change when they went to the SuperDuty line for '99 models. It could still work, but you'd need the mounts for the '99-'03 since the frame is wider (a couple of inches at most, but it's wider) on the SuperDuties

That 7.3 isn't a powerstroke though.

The only difference between the 7.3 IDI and the 7.3 PSD is the heads & fuel system...it's the same block & bottom end. Thus the engine mounts will be the same. Heck, the 7.3 and 6.9 are the same block for that matter.

the only this the 7.3 IDI has in common with the powerstroke is the displacement. no internal parts are interchangable.

and people have put the IDI engines in everything from jeeps to boats.
if you can fabricate, you can put that engine in damn near anything.
