Those were one of the best engines in that class of truck ever built, right along with the 5.9 cummins. My brother has close to 500000 kms on a Ford work van w/7.3 and it runs very well!

I love my truck!!!!! I'm still considering the bypass oil filtration system he was talking about. FS2500 or whatever the name is. I've heard a LOT of very good things about them.

I should be sticking more filters on mine too, cause I would like it to get that high in mileage too!

I dont run any extra mods on mine either so it should last fairly long as is.

I would assume lots of million milers (both gas AND diesel) arent always thrown up on a website either.
