On the firewall drivers side is a large disk shaped thing
A fairly large black hose goes from this to the intake manifold
This is the vacuum line for the brakes

Oops didn't see the the link. Well I found the hose and added the Seafoam but very little smoke came out . I guess that's a good thing.

Eliminates one more thing. I try to explain to people that 90% of a mechanic's life is just diagnosis.

Are you having some running issues that caused you to sea foam in the first place?

No it runs like a sewing machine i just recently bought it though, and am going through the truck replacing routine maintenance parts oil change, filters ect. Just thought I would run some Seafoam through it to see what I could flush out.

I do it primarily to reduce the PCV and EGR deposits in the intake. Granted it's not as good as a full removal, but it's a lot less time consuming.
