I have found the problem

This is what I did to my motor tring to clean the throttle body and intake

I dont think anything else is hurt but its getting a rebuild anyway. Its the # 8 Piston and rod , valve must have been wide open. Advice to anyone doing this : remove the plugs and spin the motor first!

I have found the problem

Did you read the can of cleaner? "Run a high idle." all that cleaner going into any cylinder could burn or knock o hole in the piston.

OK I admit I wasnt thinking. I removed the throttle body to clean it then started wqorking on this pile of deposits at the bottom where the throttle body bolts up. I just wasnt thinking.
