Thanks, guys. The pix are a 5 years old, and now I can see where the mistakes were made in prep. I did all the work myself, except spraying it. I should have used an etching primer on the cowling, b/c now the paint is pealing off. I should have been more careful about who sprayed it too, b/c he did not get paint in the louvers, or around the windows at the rubber. Oh well.
Another mistake I made, and I'll pass this along so others will know: Don't buy the cheap LMC tailgate. The first time I stacked something on it with it down, the metal flexed and the paint just flaked off where the metal tweeked.
Sorry to hear that. I'll keep that in mind since I'm in dire need of a new tailgate. (The internal mounts for the window track/motor have rusted off, so the bottom of the window's free to move around inside the tailgate).
Kevin, do you have any problems with your brakes locking up and skidding? Not with your special self applying brakes, just a normal panic stop. My truck likes to skid, drives me nuts.

Hey Sam. When I did the disc swap I installed an adjustable prop. valve for the rears and it took quite a few stops and starts to get it dialed in, but I managed. Now I only skid when I really stomp on it. One of the rears locks b/c the other is covered with g.oil due to a blown axle sear. If it's not one thing it's the other!
I know I've been really lazy regarding the self-applying issue. I read up on the h.b. system, and found that when seals start to go, then that can be a symptom. So I'm not crazy as certain ex's who shall remain unnamed would gladly state.
Hi Kevin, that adjustable prop valve might be the ticket, is yours a willwood brand?
On dry pavement my truck stops ok, but once it rains you can make the tires howl if you try to stop quick! I can only imagine what it's like to be in the little BMW in front with my 4500 lb truck skidding toward his back bumper.
Sam: Is it only the rear wheels that are locking up? Are you sure you have the proper line going to them, and not the line for the front cals? I bought my p.valve from ABS brakes. It cost only $50. Years back when I replaced my oem one it cost over $200.
I would ck my lines first, and try to eliminate any other reason they may be locking before I went and spent money without needing to. Good luck.
