I have no idea how it came out. Maybe I cut too much off of the quarter. Anyway, I couldn't find it, so I put everything back together and drove it 240 miles without any issues.

i dont know how much you have looked but there are a lot of holes in the block that it could get in to that would be hard to see it, and i dont think a magnet will pick it up.

Well if it helps, when I dropped mine while installing it on the drivers side (oiley fingers.....), it fell down inside the head where the push rods go through. Took me about 3 hours and a lot if ingenuity to get it out of there. I could just bairly see the edge of it with the pushrod removed.

With as little as US currency is worth now days I would say the canadian quarter would be a 55 cent mod at least!

Sometimes I have dreams of doing something I believe are real and then find out it never happened.
