Yeah, but I was looking at a ton of pics of the little varmints and nothing really stood out. I've never even seen one around here anyway...I guess I could've gone with a Marmot, but that's an Alaska thing:
"Beginning in 2010, Alaska celebrates February 2 as "Marmot Day", a holiday intended to observe the prevalence of marmots in that state and take the place of Groundhog Day."
It was funny how slow the morning news was to catch on to who he was. I was watching ABC7 at about 6, and they said there had been a shooting on Mulholland, possibly a suicide. Then about 20 minutes later they said a man identified as Don Cornelius was the possible "victim". Almost like they didn't recognize the name. It made me think it was just a coincidence, and I wasn't even sure he was still living. When I left home at 6:45 they still had not made the Soul Train connection. I wasn't sure until you posted that picture.

Hope February find everyone well & ready for the month ahead.
My daughter, son-in-law, & granddaughter should be here in a few hours! I'm so excited! They left Fort Hood,Texas 2 days ago & are moving back here to Carson City, NV.
We are presently sleeping, and a suitable image will be displayed later this morning.
Reminds me of professional stoners Cheech and Chong:
"Yea, man, I was watching that movie about the Indian....not much action..." or something like that, from one of their albums.
Okay...just want to make sure that I'm doing it SoCal style this month...
So...this IS the place now to swing by and say HELLO?
I noticed the experimental "Hello" thread has now been closed...don't want to ruffle any feathers and you guys sick that pitbull Pelosi after me or anything! LOL...
Okay...I'll "assume" this is the "HELLO" place for today...I'm sure I'll be corrected if I'm wrong...
Since February is here and I'm a day late...HELLO FEBRUARY and SOCAL!!!
Weather here in Indiana has been well above "normal"...whatever "normal" is these days!
I should be back in your neck of the woods...perhaps week of February 13...we'll see...
