I fly back tomorrow just in time to fight Friday afternoon 405 traffic, get packed for the Pismo G2G and then fight Santa Barbara traffic on the way up.
Yeah, but I was looking at a ton of pics of the little varmints and nothing really stood out. I've never even seen one around here anyway...I guess I could've gone with a Marmot, but that's an Alaska thing:
"Beginning in 2010, Alaska celebrates February 2 as "Marmot Day", a holiday intended to observe the prevalence of marmots in that state and take the place of Groundhog Day."
I've got a great picture of a marmot I took when we were driving up Mount Evans in Denver...you can drive up to 14,200' (I've got a picture of my GPS showing that altitude too!)...but there's marmots all over the place up there at that altitude just laying around on a rock teetering on the edge of a sheer cliff sunning themselves!...kind of cool!
I know there's no feathers in here...just messin' with you guys!
I finally got to meet my son-in-law & granddaughter yesterday! I'm proud of my daughter...great guy & good looking too! Little Athena is just cute as a button & I barely got to hold her because Karl & Kaedon were hogging her! Atleast I'll be able to hold Athena more once they're at school. LOL! They're so proud to be a Aunt & Uncle.
Some of you may be aware of this already. I was told of this search engine named startpage.com . It uses Google's resources but it differs in that it doesn't track your web inquires, as Google and others do, for the purpose of channeling your search information to other parties. Go to startpage.com and read the detail info. by clicking on the "details" notation. I will no longer use Google or Bing or anything else.
Well its 3:32 AM and I'm still studying for a Chem midterm i have at 10AM tomorrow, I guess I'll be sleeping on the way to Pismo tomorrow instead of splitting the drive with my dad.
I'm thinking Sean was VERY bored in Boise!!!...LOL...hopefully he wasn't playing solo...We used to play a similar game in college with the "Love Boat"...aka for the game..."Chug Boat"...we all picked a character and whenever that character showed up on screen it was your obligation to DRINK...Captain Stubbing was usually a safe character...Gopher...well...you could be drunk quick!
Good luck on the test Dave!!!...luckily these days I have no class!...
Friday is here...that means one day closer to Super Sunday!!!
It's been a crazy busy week for me...which is good...it went QUICK!
Hope everyone has a great day and a great weekend!
