Checklists take a lot of the excitement out of an adventure. Like the excitement of discovering the critical item you forgot.

Not any more. Bad news, huh? What other SoCal options are there for local street machines? Does Pomona still have open nights?

Pomona barely lets the NHRA on their track.

Occasional street legals @ Fontana, if you want to hang around for 8 hours to get in 2, maybe 3 passes. Qualcomm and Barona are the only other places. So much for easy practice sessions with a simple 25 minute drive on Thursday evenings. I'm beyond disappointed.

And OCIR has been history for many years now. I hear El Toro is not home to the Marines, maybe they won't mind using one of those runways for a strip?

Fat chance of that. Whatever they do with that property you can bet it won't be noisy.

In other news, Tiger totally screwed the pooch at Pebble Beach today. I've never seen so many blown putts before by a pro.

Usually watch that tournament just for the scenery, but I didn't see a minute of it this year.

Tiger's pooch has been abused for quite a while now.

Not for dial up

Now this is something you don't see every day.

Or this...

Of course everyone has seen one of these somewhere.

However, what about a night time version?

I can't even imagine how many hours it took to make some of those.
