My truck is a 2004 F250 and i did the spring swap and it boosted my fuel pressure to 80-90psi at idle and at wot it jumps down to 20psi, it also feels ***** less now with the spring mod. Now is that a fuel pump issue?

Sounds like you didn't get the popit in there right. What was your pressure before the install? If 20 is an actual pressure...STOP driving the truck before you roast the injectors.
Under normal driving conditions it sits around 70-90psi I baby the throttle so my fuel pressure stays above 50psi. With the factory spring my pressure at idle was around 50psi and wot it was at about 35psi witch is why I did the spring upgrade.
i just ordered my fuel pump from tousley ford. i had to call them it seemed to cheap to be true. but the list price is the same price as all the other dealers around here. 261.51
I still don't understand why you're replacing your fuel pump. Your pressures are low. But those are pretty normal low pressures for someone with the factory fuel pressure regulator spring. What you need to do is to upgrade to the new fuel regulator spring and see what you get.
I'm willing to bet a new fuel pump is going to leave you with exactly the same pressures you have now.
the truck has been sitting in my side yard for 2 months now. im going to do the spring fuel pump and my #8 injector all at once. i just dont want to take a chance. once less thing i have to worry about i hope.i guess it would be preventive work
