so my 04 f250 started running like crap. i decided to test the fuel pressure i have 47-48 at idle and 41-42 at w.o.t. truck has almost no power. could my fuel pump be shot or going out? anyone know of a good one with a good price. thanks david
runs really ruff, step on the gas and it spudders as it tries to rev up. from a stop after i drove it a mile today i couldnt hardly get it going.just seems like there isnt any power. i have no codes. ficm replaced in august
You also need to have it read for codes (DTC's). Your troubles could be unrelated to the low fuel pressure. Do you have a way of checking the high pressure oil pressures (ICP readings)? A scangaugeII is about the cheapest way to go for a scan tool ($150).
The 2004 year was a transition year for engines. Do you know if your ICP sensor is behind the turbo or on your passenger side valve cover?
What oil do you use? How long has it been since the oil and filter were changed?
Are you sure your batteries are strong (ie load check them individually)?
the icp is behind the turbo i changed it out last year. oil is fresh. its changed about every 3 months/6,000 miles. i have lifetime oil changes from the dealer.the only dtc i pull is the #8 contribution balance fault. batteries were replaced 2 octobers ago

There's your smoking gun for the rough runing/lack of power issue. And the low fuel pressure more than likely caused it to fail. I'd address the low fuel pressure while you're replacing that injector.
as far as fuel pump what should i run? i was thinking of going with the FASS Titanium 95 Series with Small Filters 95gph what does everyone think? where would be the best place or price wise to get a pump and or a stock injector
What are you plans for the truck? If your going to be staying stock or near stock...to me it's hard to justify the extra money for an aftermarket pump.

Tousley Ford parts is hard/impossible to beat for OEM pricing. AFA aftermarket fuel pump--Airdog 2. I wouldn't p**s on FASS after all my expensively bad experiences with them.
well i plan on in the future doing upgrades but more of studs egr delete all the stuff just to keep it on road.maybe a stock one would work for now.save a couple of hundred in the hard times of year wouldnt be bad. thanks guys
Tousley Ford won't sell just the pump, only the entire HFCM.
O'Reilly's and AutoZone want $279 for the pump only. I found the same one they sell here Airtex E2340 Fuel Pump | Auto Parts Warehouse
