05 side mirror
Can anyone tell me how to disassemble the mirror housing. Mine have the amber signal light lens on the lower side. My lens is cracked and I have a new one in hand. My problem is that there is a small tab that extends into the folding joint of the assembly. The tab has a small tork screw through it but I cannot access it without disassembling the joint. Being that the part is available I assume it is replaceable. Any ideas or magic tricks would be greatly appreciated.

I've seen the directions here for an '03, including pictures. Can't put my finger on the thread right now, but give the search function a try. I seem to recall you needed to fold the mirror in first which would uncover a screw underneath.
