Wipers went out. Help!
The front wipers on my 97 expy stopped working today. They just stopped mid-stroke. I checked fuses and relays and also changed the mfs. The rear wiper and turn signals work but not the front wipers or squirted. When I try to turn them on, I don't hear any clicking or anything. I can't see the front wiper motor and squirter going out at the same time. Am I missing anything? Also what about a gem? Do I have one and what does it do? Thanks

99.9% sure it's the motor. The control module is in the motor.
Been reports of the washer sticking open and draining the bottle. Replacing the motor fixes it.
