Exclamation All good things...

Hey NorCal Chapter,

I joined the chapter in 2006 and became the Chapter Leader in 2007 after taking the helm over from Clint. Sadly, I've neglected my duties as chapter leader for awhile. To help make sure things are running smoother at the site, it is now time for me to move on.

Due to private things, I am resigning as the Chapter Leader for Northern California. I enjoyed and was honored during my time as chapter leader. Introducing new members, sharing information and jokes in the forums, and meeting you all in the occasional get togethers over the years has been great.

I want to thank Dan, Mike, and many other members that helped me with my truck and especially in making this an exciting, fun, and very informative forum.

I apologize for my negligence of duty. It was not meant as a slight to this great chapter and its members nor FTE itself. I still plan to be a member of the chapter and hopefully participate in future events.

I encourage all current members to think about who would be a good leader (you can volunteer yourself as well).

I vote for Joe F350. He seems to be on more than most, Or Tiger Dan, but I know he has a lot on his plate in RL and might not be able to devote any time to the position.

Guys, look here:

There's a procedure for this, and it's all outlined in the first post

Yeah, I saw that after posting to this one. BTW, I forgot to add my thanks to you Karl, for a job well done these past 4 years. Thanks for stepping up and taking the helm when Clint stepped down.

Sorry to see you step down, Karl. You've had a nice long run and done a good job, but Life Happens and things must change, so I understand. And of course you'll still be around so that's the good part.

I agree, glad to see that you are not leaving FTE completely.

Ah, this just plain sucks... But I understand, Karl. Glad your staying around. Hope everything smooths out in Karl-World. You've done a great job and your efforts are very much appreciated!
So, it comes down to Joe, Dan and Jim as runners up for succession to the throne eh? Looks good to me any way it goes. All good choices.

Too put another name out, I believe Tim ^^ should be considered. If, of course he accepts. All great choices however

Karl, I hope life finds you well!! Thanks for the leadership.

I was thinking you might do it, Hank. After all, you've been a chapter member for a quite a while now, and being semi-retired you'd have plenty of free time to devote to the job...!

I nominate Dan, since it is always Dan's fault (Haven't "heard" that in awhile have you Dan?)

Actually, I believe the rules state that mod can't be CL if he's a mod or CL on a competing forum. But I don't want the job anyway...got too many other irons in the fire just trying to survive to give it the time it needs.

Yeah, I don't want the job either, that is why I nominated Joe. Although, if I remember correctly, Tim is retired now, he has "plenty" of free time, he can do it.

Sorry Jim. Retired but back to a 40 hour per week job. Plus a major remodel going on here at the homestead.
Hank, still awaiting a response from my PM... Uuuh, so wha-da-ya think?
