Fuse problem is making me crazy. Help!

Fuse problem is making me crazy. Help!

Hi. I have a 8-95 f350 7.3 with a 4x4 zf trans. The other day the odometer stopped along with speedo. Checked the fuses. #8 is blown. Put another one in and all is okay. Till last night. Came out and the brake lights were stuck on. Thought it was the pedal switch. Nope. With the pedal switch plugged in, when i push the brake pedal, i now get no brake lights, but i do get some static out of the drivers rear speaker. Also if i take fuse 8 out, one terminal side is hot. Hit the brake, i get power to both fuse terminals. Also with the same fuse out, brake depressed, the odometer works. Now this is with no fuse in position 8 and key in off position. I am sensing there is a power wire grounding out and back feeding into other things? Any ideas where to start? I am getting ready to have a stroke with this truck.

Check for water damage to the fuse box. Usually trucks that are a little bit later have this problem, but it still would be a good idea to check for a windshield leak where water can run down inside the firewall and corrode the fuse box.
