SuperDuty came much later - I have owned a 2000 and 2002 SD and neither of them had PATS. I bought a 1997 F150 rollover a few years ago and it didn't have PATS, either.
Well, I know the F150 got it in 99 for sure; the SD I wasn't entirely sure about but I recalled the SD-based Excursion got it in 2000 and figured they'd done it for the SD as well.
I do know that none of the production OBS trucks ever had PATS in the US, so not an issue.
I got new keys cut at the dealer, Home Depot didn't carry our blanks nor did Ace. It was $6 a key with cutting, new ones even have the Ford logo on them (I have a thing about key copies, idk why). Eventually I'll get another remote too, but $70 is quite a bit to cough up for one.
