Help in Irving

Truck just stopped. Batteries appeared to be a problem. Replaced them. Still no go. Trying to replace CPS but can't get bolt undone. Anyone on here live close that might lend a hand? Bad part is that the truck is stuck in a driveway of a hotel and tomorrow is Sunday. In a bind....

steve, u sure it's the crankcase position sensor? tats a usual misconception. any codes? i'd go by an autozone and have them pull up codes, post them here, and the gurus on here will assist u wif resolving the real problem.

sorry to hear bout ur mishap. if i was in mckinney right now, i'd drive to u to help u out. i live in houston.

btw, wat year of truck, miles, any mods, etc. more info, and the guys can help u better.

there is a user on here. cheezit is his screen name. he's a ford senior master tech in gas and diesels and he's in the DFW area. he might be better positioned to help u if u can get ur truck to him.

btw, we're talking bout irving, tx, right? lol.

I don't really have any clue what is going on. No way to get to auto zone since the truck won't stay on. It is a 2000 with 202000 opened up the intake and exhaust. No chip. Started it and it died. Drove it about 1/4 mile and it died. It will start and run a couple of sec then die. I'm going to get it towed to our hotel.

Do u have any leaks? Sounds like it's not holding the oil pressure. it could also be ur ficm.

U changed batteries. brand new? Wats the cca?

Is ur Degas bottle puking?

u mentioned u got her started. Did u see white smoke? Even a small puff means trouble. I'll tell u later if u have tat symptom.

Did you ever figure this out or are you still stuck in a hotel parking lot? I've got to drive through Irving tomorrow.
