Need some help w/ a 7.3l excursion
7.3l quit on me the other day while driving down the hwy. I was under hard acceleration, boost about 24-26 and poof she just quit - dead! I was on my 100hp setting - its a bullydog chip 6pos I think. pulled over to the side of the road and then she started fine. But the chip on stock setting, under acceleration it sputtered again, or half dies, if that makes sense. Some of the dash lights came on, like the water in fuel, just a blink though. Then drove another 25miles w no problem. I didn't try to accelerate real hard though. Havent had a chance to check codes yet. But the ses was on.
heres a list of what I have, bullydog 6pos chip, propane injection- wasnt on for this problem, 4" exhaust, 6in lift.
It seems if I dont push it, it will run fine? Could that be the cps? any way some thoughts would be appreciated and I'll post the codes if any tomorrow.

it sounds like CPS Cam Positioning Sensor, its common problem with 7.3's get one from the dealer , make syre ask for a New one that is 25$ not 160$, its new revision,
check the oil level, and to be sure its not your tuner remove the tuner and see if you problem returns,

If you pull the codes & get 1211 ,.. Its is just about normal for a chipped truck., HPOP has a hard time keeping up with the demand for HP oil.....
It also could be a fuel pressure issue...May need to have the fuel pressure checked at WOT....
