As some of you know, my PCM crapped out at RRE. Been running good ever since I replaced it. Sunday I go running around, drove about 100 miles and stopped at the store. Came out and it wouldn't start, just spin over. Pulled the chip and still wouldn't start. Called the tow truck and it started when he showed up. When I got home I shut it off and it wouldn't restart. Sat all day Monday. Started this morning and I let it run for about 10 minutes to warm up. Dropped it in reverse, moved about 10 feet and it died. Just got my laptop back from getting fixed so I'll be hooking up AE when I get home. Any idea's other than the ordinary ICP, IPR stuff?
If it will start and idle reach down in there and wiggle the IPR connector and then the wiring. Check the IPR solenoid nut while you got your hand down there. If nothing happens, do the same at the ICP sensor.
Wiggled the wires, no change. Tin nut is there and tight. CPS was replaced last summer but I know that dont really mean it isnt bad.
My AE isnt working like its supposed to so its useless right now. Probably a computer issue and not AE. It wont pull codes or let me look at live data. Says something about not having to be OBD compliant because of the weight and to pull codes from the on-board test system. Never seen it say that before. It did start and run but died in the driveway after about 10-20 minutes.

That sounds like an AE set-up problem, When choosing the Model in the drop down menu you need to pick Powerstroke 7.3L and not F250.
See if this helps.
When mine went out around 90k, I was sweating bullets and frustrated for a couple days. I had no idea what was wrong. Luckily it was stalled in my driveway at home.
Someone else said "Sounds like your CPS," and I wanted to slap myself silly, as I'd given that advice countless times before but didn't even think of it. Of course, that was it.
That's why they tell doctors NOT to diagnose close family members or themselves. Objectivity gets severely dulled when it's happening to you!
Tonight after letting truck run for about 20 minutes it cut off and wouldnt start back up.
I put in the gray CPS that I had for my spare and still no start.
ICP would only build to about 150. Unplugged sensor and still no start. I'm thinking that I have either a weak LPOP that cant keep up or a bad IPR solenoid.
Thoughts?
