installing gauges and need some help

dumb question: can you install two thermocouples for EGT and toggle them on 1 gauge? I had Banks send me a second thermo and I want to install it in manifold
My current thermo is install in a Banks Power elbow after turbo(non ebv outlet flange)
Or is another EGT gauge BEST?

I'm going to be installing a probe soon as well and am planning on tapping the DS manifold but was wondering how people tap the up-pipe. Is there enough meat to thread the pipe or do you need to weld a nut to it?

You'd have to weld a bung to it... but to my knowledge, the manifold is where you want it anyways. Pretty sure the goal is to get as close to the actual cylinder temperatures as possible.
