1. ok I got an 05 F250 xl 5.4 I really need the fuse box diagram because my truck did not come with any of the paper work.
2. I have installed a cb and 4 off road lights on my truck everything is wired straigh to the battery with in line fuses. But for the past 2 weeks it has been dead over night. I had battery and all check out they say there good, but battery is 7 years old motorcraft. So im sure my lights and cb are more than likely pulling it down, But I just dont know what to do from here. Any ideas? Thanks for the help!
But for the past 2 weeks it has been dead over night.
Disconnect the battery when you park the truck for the night. Reconnect it in the AM. If it's dead, then it's dying all by itself. I really would not trust a 7 year old battery, regardless of how it tests.
Ok so after I unhooked everything and truck has been sitting for 24 hrs. My battery has not died yet. But it has been taking a few days to happen. So I'm going to get a new one this week anyway. But if it is my lights, how should I wire them to only draw power when truck is on. Any threads on this?
Yea they are on switches put I know it pulls power to the switch and then stops there till I turn them on. Thats not gonna draw the battery down enough to hurt anything right? I got a new battery today and truck is cranking faster than ever and RPMs are not dieing at idle. So I got it fixed.
