I thought it may be fuel but i put an additional buzz pump thinkinking not enouggh volume now there is fuel in carb and lines when it dies have not checked for spark becauseit would fie but not start until it cooled off i checked for collapsing fuel lines also
Sounds like vapor lock. Check to make sure your fuel lines aren't getting to close to the exhaust, and try insulating them where they get close to heat sources.
Fuel pump, fuel filter would the the primary suspects.
Next an ignition module that gets hot and starts to quit.
The three step scenario of a failing DuraSpark ignition module:
1) Module overheats, engine dies. Module cools down, engine restarts almost at once.
2) Module overheats, engine dies. Module cools down, engine restarts in an hour...or so.
3) Sooner or later, usually sooner, the module overheats, BURNS OUT. Now the engine will not restart.
A DuraSpark module can be tested by autoparts stores...off the vehicle. Which means the little charmer is usually cold...so will test OK, unless it has burned out.
DuraSpark modules were sooo troublesome, Ford techs refered to them as Never/Spark!
