i just put all new o rings and return lines on and its still leaking under the caps really bad. what do i do now? and every time i shut my truck off it wont turn over again, 2 brand new batteries and alternator tests good.
you probably didn't use petroleum jelly on the new O-rings,and they got nicked during install.the only thing to do now,is to pull them,install new O-rings lubed up good this time,and reinstall.
first you can double check that you pushed down on the caps firmly enough.you sometimes feel and or hear them "snap"
don't be afraid to use some pressure to make it happen.the steel FI lines don't hold the caps.only the O-rings do.
as for the last part;
some people confuse "turning over" with "firing".
does the engine spin and just doesn't want to start (explained by leaking caps) or is it really not turning over at all? (an separate issue.)
ok ill put new o rings on, and it turns over very slowly, then i put the jump box on it and it fires right up.
That sounds like dead batteries. How did you check the alternator? Are you sure its actually charging the batteries?
What condition are the battery cables in? Check the connections at both ends to make sure they corroded. If the ends of the cables are swollen, the cables themselves could be going bad.
